Thanks and well done for the idea to use the LED. I also learnt about the new type of pump! All because my own GC9630 died. So I had to dismantle. Philips have the parts so I ordered the pump. Didn't try to repair it though. But you are great.

Hi Pak Ngah, can I ask what was the minimum voltage needed to make the pump function by using the variable voltage ? I have a step down isolated transformer which is 50V AC 50Hz, do you think it could be useful for check the pump as a safety measure? Thanks

I use the LED only because of its shape and not other features. You can see the shape in this video. Round shaped LEDs like this are common and can be found at any electronic parts store. Use a 3mm diameter LED, the small one.

Why the spring position is different. Before fixing, it was on the input side(large tube of piston) of the pump, but when you fix it, you put it on the output side(small tube of piston)
