I have dt830d DMM. R5 and R6 (510k and 100 ohams)are are not soldering due to reasons that both sides tracks are missing due to extra solder heat, let me know the your valuable advice how can I solder the registers on small remaining copper plates on device. Thanks in advance Mr. Nihar Dash.

If the track are missing you have to track it using pin ,,carefully all tracks are goes to the chip track it before the chip,,Carefully remove the colour coating & thin wire solder ,,,, the thin wire connect your big resistor .... My point of view is that if your meter is displaying anything your chip ic is ok but ,,,, the problem is smd resistor or ohms short. Mention your meter all smd resistor upper side small printed numbers serial wise one by one comment to me ,,,,,, then i will give you all smd resistor value with color code its easy thing to repair you by your own hand.

My dear friend ,Before suspect the main chip ic you have these things to do,,,, Test the battery amp using DC bulb,,,,,In my experience the smd are looks good but it damage because its micro size the tolerance capacity is thoo low it can be damaged easily.r7 to r2 is mainly responsible for bad reading or increase reading .The smd number note r7 and r2 is not resistor this is a serial no of resisistor the main number of the resistor written resistor top side like -r5 written 1000 to convert this code in smd it means it is a 100 ohms resistor.Just for practice replace these things to do when you are free at home.Happy VISHWAKARMA PUJA,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hii Nihar , i used my multimeter to measure AC voltage when continuity mode was on,and hence it got damaged. Now it is showing continuosly increasing decreaing values, when i opened it two smd resistor were burnt R9 and R15.. Value of Smd Resistor R15 is 132 but Value of R9 is not clear, it has 4 numbers in which first is 9 and last is 0 but the two numbers inbetween are not clear..please tell me which resistor shoud be used...

My friend "Varun Naharia" first thing thank you for comment me. Burning smd are 2 types complete burn or it burn but it's look new.To find the burner resistance value to to google type multimeter circuit choose which circuit looks like your circuit then trace the location which area your resistance burneed resistance number convert it to big resistor after that you will get the value. Nihar bhai, mere paas same multimeter hai, ac current check karte waqt short hua meter ke andar and ab ye kaam nahi kar raha, maine meter khol kar dekha to R5, R6 and R16 short hai, meter on karne par main IC heat hota hai and display sahi se nahi aa raha, pls R5, R6 and R16 ka correct value bataye jise replace kar saku agar koi aur component bhi badalne ki jarurat hai to bataye, thanks.

My brother"Chetan Chetu" dekhiye mere bahi reading galat dikhane ke 3 bajaha hain ... Pehela to aap aapna batrey ko kisi bhi 12v bulb se connect karke dekhiye aap ki meter ki battery ki ampere thick hai ya nahi jaisa ki aap mere video me dekh chuke hain.
