This helped fix the machine until I get my new hall sensor tomorrow. First I measured my board thinking the same two resistors would be toast -- My two bad 680ohm resistors were in the middle of the PCB board next to the single capacitor, not the ones on the opposite side of the connector.

i had 2 bad hall sensors, i removed "good" 680 ohms from one unit, and the bad from the other and was able to get a working sensor from the operation. my guess is large laundry loads putting a strain on those esistors (depending on the direction the drum is turning) and once they open from high heat, your done, but really not hard if you know you to R&R SMT resistors. great video here, gave me the confidence to give it a try and my LG washer is working again. just measure across each of the resistors, it obvious if they are good or bad even while in circuit. Ha! Amazing... I had no idea the encapsulation was so poor. It pulled right out. Same issue with mine, replaced with a pair of nice big 680 ohm thru hole just like yours. I suspect it will last years more compared to those tiny 681 SMT resistors. Thanks again!
