Rkn ak sy isopropyl alcohol. I used a circuit board cleaner spray. Can be purchased on eBay very cheaply. Needs to evaporate well

There is noway on god's green earth I could do what you just did, it would never work again. I have the iphone X, it has water damage. the phone still rings, makes a sound when I plug in the charger, makes a sound when I get a text, but the screen is pitch black and I cant unlock it. Apple wont touch it, bestbuy wont touch it. I guess now I have a $1300 paper weight.

@@zariahspence8961 I finally took it apart and used some contact cleaner to clean all the contacts, let it dry and put everything back together with a new screen. I dont know how but it started to work again. I ended up ordering a new set of screws because I lost a few of them during the process. but thank god it worked. Sad to say, but you dont know how attached you are to your phone till it quits working.

basically this demonstrates that your phone is shot because you're not going to be doing this without the tools or skills to put it back together and seal it again properly....daughter just ruined hers and swears she only got hair spray water on it. Not buying that for a minute when I can see water inside the screen. No more expensive phones on my dime!
