My biggest problem is I didn't understand the "red battery" screen. I think it would be more intuitive to do it the other way around, where when it is plugged in it shows the cable on the screen. Or at the very least, chance the battery from being a red almost empty battery to having a lightning bolt in the middle of it, indicating it is charging. Once I realized what it was doing though, I used another cable and it charged and turned itself back on within about 10 minutes of being charged.

I got a 2020 iPhone SE yesterday with the battery totally dead, charged in my usual charger for 5 hours, wouldn't turn on....as soon as I plugged it into my pc it showed the red battery at least every time I pressed the power button, tons better than nothing whatsoever....did a hard reset, on the 8 and newer it's up volume, then down volume, then press and hold power button.....then it came to life. So weird plugging it into the pc magically brought it to life

excellent, worked with my iphone X, am grateful Sir🙏🏽 the issue was had a dead but working battery, the phone could not get past 1% of charge and constantly restarting, the connection to imac via usb cable did the trick as the phone got back to charging ways from power off point, had to change to the wall socket to continue charge👌🏼

I figured out mine! Don't plug in to a long extension wired socket while having lots of stuff plugging on it together, just plug in to a shorter extension wired socket or to the main socket much better! Maybe power supply shortage when using long extension socket while having many stuff plugging on it together, apple product is too sensitive and it can look like always broken!!
