The Philips GC9650/80 steam generator stops generating steam, but when it is unplugged and left for 20 minutes, it works normally again, although the pump may be a bit loud. What could be the cause?

Thanks for watching my videos. Mostly the Water pump giving same problam.when you are switched on the iron, inside the tank still no much pressure. Then water pump can easily pump water to the tank. When the steam tank start to generate steam, then weak water pump will not pump enough water to the tank. This reason iron will stop running. So to Making sure, run the machine and let it stop same as the fault, then keep it around 30 to 45 minutes for get the pressure down and cool down, then carefully open the water drain out valve and look at inside the tank some remaining water is there or not. If the tank is already dry, the reason could be the pump..

The Problam was heating element. It must change. But spairparts not available outside market. Therefore we sent to the company and changed complete tank with heating element. Because both are coming together.. Thanks for watching the video.
