Thank you guys. With this video I dared to repair my wife's camera, which had problems with autofocus and the command wheel at the back. It seems that all defects were only caused by dust and sand from the beach. Now, everything works great again.

It's exactly what's being resolved here
@unperrier5998 Жыл бұрын
@@viniciusmv7727 well he did not show the issue resolved as I think he broke the optics. You see at 5:15 and 8:45 he skipped and hide how he's dealt with two tiny plastic ribbon cables that are soldered together. It's near impossible to unsolder without melting either cable, so I suspect he has cut this failed attempt from the video and just cut them off. That's why he did not show at the end of the video whether the camera optics were working at all.

I still use this camera..After two years of use a loud noise came from the camera everytime I turned it on. I brought it back to camera shop but Sony wanted more money to fix the camera than what I bough it for. I understand the sound is coming from from the lens and is a regular problem with this type of camera.

Hi, send the lens to us and we can fix it . Thank you!

@DIGISERVICEBG Thank you.. but as the camera is now many years old it's not worth fixing...Yesterday I tried it again..No noise but it came back again a few hours later..It is still a good camera..The optical stabilization is very good on it..This is the video I recorded with the camera yesterday..kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmfMYWtmip2WrtEsi=byfW0zEqP5GgasO_

Hi i have Sony DSC-HX50V think they are similar, but i can't zoom and the camera was always trying to track i can even hear the little engine clickin but i can shoot the photo, any advice please, thanks.
@DIGISERVICEBG5 жыл бұрын
Hi , you need to check first the zoom motor(all the gears) and then the lens barrels. May be there is a sand inside or foreign objects.Regards!

I have the same camera but it started to give noise while shouting..! Does anyone has an idea to fix it?
@sentimentaloldme Жыл бұрын
It's a major problem with this camera. The sound is coming from the lens mechanism of the camera..Sending it to Sony is not an option. The only way I seem to get rid of it for a period of time is by stretching by finger out and touching the top portion of the lens..Also turning the camera upside down helps..The other major problem is dust getting on the lens/sensor of the camera..I'm still using it after 11 years but only on the odd occasion. Phone camera is much better and nothing goes wrong.

better use a White background working table/area instead of that black one for clarity and easy to see/find if something goes amiss i.e. tiny part/s.
