hi so my fan suddenly stoped working and worked a bit when i connected the USB on it then it stoped and didn't work i tried it again and it didn't work i haven't taken any parts of it and i haven't used this dino costume in a while idk why the fan won't work when i connect the usb on it

Sounds to me it would be better off getting a brushless one green one. Just make sure the positive and negative wires are not twisted beneath the green thing with one screw. Once that is done, your blower will last just replace the wire when needed

$25 or less Amazon the green brushless blower with a M3 screwdriver Phillips or flat to check the wires beneath the green pace their should be a black and red wire + for positive - for negative if they are twisted untwist them put it back together when replacing the wire have a solder gun ready with new solder some flux as well to make it stick to the board

I have a question so my fan only would sometime work but for a short time. So say I would get it to actually blow air it will act as normal but for maybe 4 seconds tops and not turn on. I notice sometimes the batteries feel loose in the pack but i dont know the true issue.

The true issue is the brushed motor RF-500 itself needs new brushes and put tape over the battery pack so the batteries will stay in. A new blower will cost $17 brushless two year lifespan max at amazon.com it’s a green blower requires a power bank to run. Versus the traditional less than 21 days for the brushed RF-500 motor. You will need a solder gun handy for the green blower in case something goes wrong with the wire sooner than two years. 22 gauge 12V wire will do the trick when it comes to that time again. Buy a small Phillips head screwdriver 1.5 mm to check the green blowers wires and see if the negative and positive are twisted together if they are untwist them to avoid short circuiting. It happened to my first one that’s how I found out. Then a 12 V DC male adapter another $5 to complete the wire change out. The last thing you would need is a $34 power bank or more it depends on your 18650 batteries buy the 3500 mah capacity cells. Or buy A power bank already made for the same price

Yes The brushes are shot it would cost five dollars to buy a new motor which is what you need also a solder gun to put the wire on the motor again. With that being said it would be more worth it to buy a new blower system brushless green two year lifespan consistent use for the motor. The wires have to be changed out after so many bends i’m talking about 50 bends or less. When it comes to changing out the USB wire to the green blower system you need a solder gun for that. The very first thing you do with the green blower is untwist the negative and positive wires inside the blower behind the one screw green door using a 1.5 mm Phillips screwdriver. 22 12V DC gauge speaker wire is perfect for replacing the old wire. And additional five dollars for getting a 12V DC cctv male adapter. It’s because you just can’t get one. 6X 18650 lithium ion batteries then the power bank 3.8V to 12 V. Or you can get one already made with the same adapter set up. It needs new batteries if they’re not new batteries. Buy all of this at amazon.com

My brother just wore his inflatable dino costume to school but at lunch the fan stopped working we are looking at it but cant find our whats wrong do you have any clue on how to help please!!???? It could be the wire too but check the wire connections in the blower held in by 3 M2 screws M2 screw driver to check that and the battery pack if nothing is wrong with those and the wire. Then I would recommend getting another blower brushless green one $16 on Amazon or eBay

The power bank itself is fixable but you have to have 20 gauge wire handy and a solder gun with solder 3 mm Phillips head screwdriver to take the four screws out. Or if it’s just a faulty power bank unfortunately you would have to buy a lithium power bank I would recommend 6000 MAH prices range from $10 to less than whatever website you want to choose

@tchikypoo3850 by making it just a tad faster, take the ring on the blade off carefully without breaking the rest of the blade then it will inflate faster for your costume. You will need a M2 screwdriver Phillips head to take the front covering off to make the modification. After this number re-screw in the front cover, and it will then blow a little faster than it did. By next year or sooner, if this works, I will show a video how to build one on my channel a different one using the least amount of power possible for the maximum thrust just with a USB cable and power bank using a drone motor brushless

Unfortunately your RF 500 motor is shot buying the new 2021 green Brushless blower is what I recommend to you have to have a power bank to run it and a 1.5 mm Phillips head screwdriver to open the green one screw green door on the blower to untwist negative and positive to avoid a short circuit. Save the wires from your old blower and use them when you need them for the new blower even keep the battery pack of your old blower. Take the screws out of your old blower. All 7 of them using that 1.5 mm Phillips head screwdriver on the blower itself. After that recycle the rest including the motor

Yes with a solder gun you can put that back together and some wire strippers 0.2mm. If the blower is giving you a problem then you can buy the green blower brushless 2 year lifespan works with only a power bank The first thing you have to do with it is check the negative and positive behind the one screw green door using a 1.5 mm Phillips head screwdriver they will be twisted together untwist them to avoid short circuiting. Bad connection may need a solder gun to reattach the wire if it still doesn’t work correctly. Buy a brushless blower green one USB but check the wires inside as soon as you get it main connection on the back of the blower with a M3 screw driver + head and see if they are twisted. If they are untwist them and put it back together. Just a much as the orange one but lasts longer more powerful too

Get a M2 flathead screwdriver take the four screws off the blower glue the fan back on to the shaft with superglue just one drop, but careful not to get it inside the motor then reassemble it with the same screwdriver

Check the connections inside the battery pack to see if all the wires are connected usually black and red which just like on a car black is negative and positive is red have a solder gun handy to put it back together the connections if not, buy a power bank and a brushless blower the green one take it apart from one screw on the back of the blower. Check the connections inside the blower untwist the wires so they are not touching you should be good for a while with no issues. Any other issues with that I have a different mini blower I will suggest

Sounds to me it would be better off to just get a new blower system then to replace the brushes and find out that wasn’t the problem. You can go to a vacuum place or PC computer place they will definitely give you a blower. That will be good enough for your inflatable costume or you can go on Amazon and get the green brushless blower for inflatable costumes for about $16 as soon as you get it, though check the wires with a M3 screwdriver, flathead, or Phillips with the one screw that’s on the back of the blower take that cover off to reveal the wires if they are twisted untwist them and put it back together

Use needle nose pliers to get it off without ripping a hole in the costume carefully

Of course try to be as gentle as possible to the screw ring so it doesn’t break on you. if it does unfortunately you would have to get a Brushless green mini blower but with that you would have to check the wires beneath the panel with the little screw on it. You got to take the screw out after that check the wires to see if they’re twisted together if they are untwist them put it back together. After that you’re all set

What you need is copper strippers 2.6mm to 0.80mm. Instead of repairing the flimsy wire you can take speaker wire 0.22 gauge 12V DC with a 12V DC CCTV adapter five of them come in a pack for about four dollars. The speaker wire is about $10. You can find all of this on eBay.com for your best prices or AliExpress.com for even better prices but takes a lot longer To get to you because everything on AliExpress comes from China. Amazon.com also works , Alibaba.com not everything comes from China there. Red for positive black for negative. To go with the safest route it is $25 at the minimum to do this

@theresazemelman854 the black wires are the negative wires, and the red wires are the positive wires in your battery pack you have negative and positive instruction things to show you which way the batteries go. So whatever you see the + symbol put the red wires on there when you see the minus symbol put black wires on there preferably with a solder gun to hold the wires permanently in place

@@theepicadventuresinfinity9037 thanks, but I think I got it: I put the black wire from the switch over to the output (where the fan plugs in) and the other black wire from the output (fan) to the negative terminal of the batteries. My red wire stayed attached, luckily, but that one goes from the positive of the batteries to the switch.
