Hi! I just found this video! I was looking for a way to fix the hardware of two of my coach bags that the hardware has tarnish. The hardware is the shiny one, I don’t think is brass. Unfortunately, your plating is coming off. I've had some luck with metal touchup paint, but otherwise, you could contact the repair department for replacement.

Try leather conditioner. Assuming the leather isn't coated, it should help to revive the colour. Otherwise you can buy leather dye and repair kits online.

@@DebiTheRestorer Coach has no replacement parts. I even took it to my leather specialist, and he said that my bag has been a problem for others as well. I solved it myself by changing the screw/clasp to a gold coloured loop instead.

The question is not really..."How do I change my COACH hardware? The question is..."Where does one get the hardware?" It is the same for quality leather care products. I don't like using the internet to order products. Don't like my credit card information out "there". So where do I get Saphir, leather polish? Feibings leather dye? Bick 4 leather conditioner? And a good saddle soap? Of course...one can always use Kiwi brands...but those are far inferior to Saphir, Bick 4, and Fiebings. Kiwi is readily available at any Wal-Mart or CVS. But to get the quality products...crickets. No where to be found, unless one orders it on line. I am 55 years old, and my question is...where did people get these products, before the internet came along. I know my dad had Fiebings dye back in the 70's and 80's. (He has since passed away, so I cannot ask him). So I am confused about how people got a hold of quality leather polish, conditioners, dye's, and soap...back in the day? Sorry if I come across cranky...it is because I am...lol. It is just frustrating for me...when I want to do some leather care, repair, and restoration...but cannot find the products to do it with. So yeah...from a frustrated fan of your channel, you get a "like", and a new subscriber. Thanks for what you do.
