How to Repair Your Crappy Bent ARB Bumper (Emotional). LOL

ARB makes a nice looking bumper, there is no denying that. But why are they so weak. I hooked up my Ram that weighs ~9000 pounds to see if we could get the ARB on a Toyota Land Cruiser pulled out and straight again. We made a little progress. But it was damn scary. Common ARB, make something stronger than this.

ARB makes their bumpers to still crumple for certain impacts. Generally they are resilient to hits but ARB makes them to be more crash compliant. Verses some bumpers wont even budge, but could do more harm to the car or driver.

I hit a deer with mine going 60. It pushed my bumper flush with the grill. 🤬 Rolled my passenger quarter under a lil as well. I think I might try this out on mine.

I have no idea. It's gone now. I got it pretty straight though. Much better than it was.

@@thedirtlifesupreame I ask because I wanted to see the longevity of the powder coat on the bumper. I noticed yours looks very well worn in haha just curious how long it took to get in that shape

@@Bizarado I think it had been on there for about 5 years. But it was rusty in places. I tend to spray paint my stuff. It's easy to touch up when I rub a rock on it. ARB powder coating isn't the best.
