I like the video... And thanks it actually works but.... I wanna share that what happened to me right now.... I was actually doing this step.... I didn't downloaded any custom rom cause I wanted to have repartition first... So I did all finely and perfect steps you done in the video.... You even said to wipe your os up... I didn't notice that part much.... But actually I did.... I wiped my os and I didn't had any os.... When it rebooted my pad was stuck at the logo of mi like for infinite time..... Cause it doesn't had any os.... I was so screwed up..... I can't able to access into the bootloader too.... So I was totally blocked.... I gave hope and thought to farewell my pad..... But still after an hard research.... I flashed my tab my mi flash to by flashboot... My flash boot actually worked... So I tried.... I got my pad back by doing that... Now I'm so happy that I got my tab back.....I was almost gonna cry at that moment....lol..... It wasn't your fault....it was my mistake that I didn't noticed it.....now I did this step carefully and I succeeded it.....thanks bro...

I have tried out lineage 14 as well as ASOP Custom Rom on my mi Pad 1 but some or the other apps dont work perfectly in either of them. Old recovey has resolution problem maybe because the developer ported it from a smaller device, anyways new recovery i.e 3.0 and above is fine and has no problem, and I don't understand about what update you are asking.

Pratik Surve hey I solved the problem.. Here's what you need to do.. Download the stock ui from mi.com.. Install CWM Recovery on your MI Pad in recovery mode and then flash the stock ui.. It works.. It dosent work with TWRP recovery somehow..

Very good video. I tried with the steps and it work quite well. Only problem I found that I choose stock Gapps before which did not work due to the size.. but that's my fault I missed the part where you used pico Gapps. In the end I used mini Gapps that worked well. I installed linage OS 14 which is working quite well ( event camera is working fine). My mi pad is just reborn, thanks again.

@@mischief9499 it's not working good. Its unofficial ROM and very unstable. And mi pad's hardware is too outdated I think. Repartitioning, i think it clears the space allocated for the the old rom and partition according to new ones
