Tutorial: Install TWRP on Mi Pad 3

Hi dude.. please answer me.. I got Mi Pad 4 .. couldn't install TWRP on it.. I have tried several times some kind of errors every time.. I install Minimal adb and img file.. first I check my device and it's okay.. when I try img file I got error and My device out from fastboot mode.. Would you do a little search and share with me the necessary links that I have to use (minimal adb drivers and img file) .. thanks before

Thank you. You should say the "resize partition" part since the beginning. Or maybe i should read the description before try anything. All the process worked at the second try.

Hi, when I installed the twrp, and trip to press volume up button, and fastboot reboot nithing happened, and the device only shows de xiami logo when I try to enter the twrp, could anyone help me please?

Thanks. The formatting worked out well. However installing ROM's does not work out well.... MI logo and "android bullets below" on the screen is on for more than 10 minutes... still no Rom installed.... How long does it take to have it installed? Do you have a good Rom to use?

Great! can you please make one for Xiami Mi Pad 2? Specifically, from out-of-the-box to a working AOSP? really desperate. I've purchased my mipad2 since its pre-order and never really got value out of it. chucked it in the cabinet....

TWRP installation was fine, but I'm stuck on the MI symbol after flashing the official rom 'miui_MIPAD3_V8.2.8.0.NCICNEB_19fecdbacc_7.0.zip'. I can repeat the fastboot process again, but same result. Any ideas? TIA

Make sure you use latest for Mipad 3, unlock the device and make sure to mount the cache/partition. You should be fine doing this.

Thanks very much, it eventually worked for me, although I had trouble getting the twrp cappu image file to be recognised at first so I eventually tried to download it from a different location as I was getting an error message saying it was corrupted. Also maybe the error was because I was not applying a 'space' on the cursor after typing the command needed before dragging the file as described in the tutorial. But anyhow I am very grateful for the time and effort put into creating this video in order to help other people like me. Many Thanks.

yes, he probably did it before the video. I got stuck after the MI boot logo due to not mounting it. Redid everything en mounted the data and partition. Everything is working fine now.

Resize ended with Error 1 :( I have done fastboot: -w erase system fromat system flash recovery twrp.img reboot In TWRP: repair the data and internal storage repeated this several times now. always 774MB after flashing zip just the mi logo :( I have tryed resiszing but it fails! Any Ideas???

Don't know how to fix it. I don't know what's the cause of it. On my Mi Pad everything works out of the box. However, you can use a USB mouse to click your way through TWRP.

Hello Dear i have do that same procedure and installed TWRP successfully, but now i am not able to copy any os file in the tab because now its shows only 700 mb free space only and total space is also shows 700 MB. Plz help as i m not able to use tab now.

Just flash the official ROM from en.miui.com using TWRP.
