Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, there is no exact date, the date for every individual person is different. depending how many hours of use and dusty environment and many other factors. the best you can do is if you a heady user, then do this: service the laptop now, take a note of the date and open the laptop in a year and check the thermal paste consistency and the fan and the heatsink how clean or dirty it is. base on that you can push the next service date to 1.5year or lower it to 8months. use a good thermal paste like: amzn.to/49UfkWn Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻 This is an Amazon affiliate link. @uFixTek
@uFixTek 9 ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, title changed "GL66 11UEK" 🫠 i would recommend you not to place a LM on this laptop as the heatsink is a pure copper, the LM will not damage the copper nor eat it. but it will dry the LM over few months and you will have a bad day in a year. if you wan to go MAX, go with "Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet" amzn.to/3u062c1 it is better than LM and it is solid and permanent and won't react to copper nor the copper with it. just place "kapton tape" around the GPU and CPU crystal to cover the capacitor (don't place on top of the crystal). then place the KryoSheet over the GPU and CPU if it is bigger than crystal it is perfectly fine. and then you can enjoy the best performance that you can get. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻 This is an Amazon affiliate link. @uFixTek
@uFixTek Ай бұрын
Don't worry, my friend. As long as you slide (pull towards the battery) the jack straight, you'll be fine. Use force and slide the jack back, and it will get removed. Also, if you need more room to do this, remove the 3 screws that touch the battery, so you can move the battery to a different angle to get more space to pull the cable.

Same goes for GPU, before 86, now around 80. It could be better, but for laptop I do not think it is possible somehow to go lower.
