This is a really helpful video. Random piece of info, but for anyone repinning for a 2000 Explorer, you need to swap the blue and brown wires if you're hids aren't working correctly. This should be similar for all 95-01 explorers which use 9007 bulbs. The white wire on the hid harness is usually ground and has to stay in the middle.

Wish I had found this before I butchered the alignment dowels and crammed 9007’s in the old ford. Oh well, new headlight switch connector, new oem $65 switch, and bronco graveyard harness upgrade, which is intended for 9007’s. I’m like….why are my relays acting weird- Short to ground in 9004 bulb is why. Guess I didn’t need that extra $25 relay after all.

i just installed bi xeonon projectors this weekend and installed a 9007 morimoto harness kit for mopar. 2003 dodge ram. problem im having is when i have low beams on the headlight comes on but flips the cuttoff shield down and also goes to high beam. when i turn on the high beams the shield goes back to low beam mode. tried switching the blue and white wires as per morimoto but it just does the exact same thing. any clue what would cause this?

+jake ounce your welcome. as long as the video helps one person its was worth doing. if the colors on your harness are different then whats shown in the video the repin steps are the same. i made this video as the info i found online for my customers was never the same.

This is a poor video, no talking and a lot of fumbling around. Move on to another video is my advice.

@@TheGrafxShop he's not wrong. Some good critique and fair critique. This is a terrible video compared to others. Despite having six comments or so that were positive, and doesn't make the video good. The camera work is all over the place wasting a ton of time, and with an electronics video you might want to narrate it and give more information. But as you said it was 7 years ago I'm sure your videos have improved. Just cuz someone critique something doesn't mean they need to make a better version of it. Lol countless others... This video averages 3,000 views a year.

@d-rockanomaly9243 I mean Noone wrong based on therevown perspective I guess. Many of my older videos was done by request. Or to help installing the products I sold. It's hard as one person to do the camera work and the work. My mission what to help atleast one person . I have a lot of respect for anyone that can create any content. It's hard. It's hard to keep pumping out content that gets noticed . Regardless I welcome all feedback.

BASED on the BS FORCED commercials, this is a USELESS VIDEO........

They're not forced you dimwit. Simply don't watch the video. Or get an ad blocker like any sane person has if you're intelligent enough to figure out how to do that. Also how do you expect KZbin to operate the way it does without ads? They're the whole reason creators are incentivized to make videos and kind of a necessary evil. But anyways this is all probably lost on you.
