How to Replace a 2004-2009 Kia Spectra Radiator Removal and Install

This video gave me the confidence to replace the radiator in my Spectra with one I ordered on Amazon.. As someone who doesn't like to work on cars, I have to say this was surprisingly simple. Took me under 2 hours (had a little snag). As a word of advice, the 3 bolts that you tighten toward the center of the radiator (See 11:20), I would suggest leaving them relatively loose until all 3 are in. I tightened my one side too much and the other side threading wouldn't catch. It wasn't until I loosened the tight side that there would be enough 'play' in the radiator's movement for me to align the bolt's threading. This cost me a lot more time than it should have one a simple mistake. Great video. Thank you for saving me probably over $300!

My spectra 06 MT 164k change water pump timing belt hose some gaskets thermostat just basic maintenance and run like a charm, I reve up my kia Scotty.

I had to replace my water pump gasket from overheating (because of a bad radiator - which I replaced with the help of this video). I ended up replacing pump and timing belt since the mechanic was going to have to get in there anyway and the labor wouldn't be that much more. My car is running as great as ever even though it's starting to rust. Love this car!
