To me this is what I would call a good mechanic job. With basic to intermediate level knowledge of different parts, systems or programming you can problem solve any job. Electrical Problem? Can you replicate the issue? Find the source. Identify what went wrong. Brainstorm different ways to fix it. The hardest part in this case is insider knowledge on programing statistics for setting the machine. The easiest but could be considered the most laborious part of the job is always the calibration. Overall this video was a good watch. Looking forward to the next one

Excellent video! Enjoyed watching the process. So I assume you don't change the diameter of the filament often. Makes me wonder if all manufacturers of the filament produce consistent product.

That is correct. This machine is set up for 3mm. It really is 2.85 but the diameter runs pretty true to size. The other printers I have are both 1.75mm Thank you for watching and posting.

> and here the philippines i thought i had problems with pc front panel usb ports that wont contact (imagine, the individual parts are sold only as a completely new chassis); the spool splicer reminded me of the built in band saw resistance welder @ the place i apprenticed as a machinist.
