I did it! Thank you very much for this video. I had the problem that the blower was not working. After I watched this video I was hoping it was only the fuse or the regulator because it seemed an impossible job to get out the whole dashboard. But I discovered the blower had to be replaced after all. And with the help of your video I managed to do it in 4-5 hours. The most difficult part was to get out the dashboard, specially when you don't remove the middle console, as you said at 6:18. There are 3 plastic pins and when you get your hand into the hole where the blower control unit used to be, you can hold onto the lower part of the dashboard, there were the 3 pins go in and pull that part in the direction of the engine. I'm very greatful for this video, greetings from the netherlands

@Mike Johnson, you're welcome sir, but about the steering wheel, it was just my preference of doing it that way, I had a second pair of hands, so we could lift and maneuver the dash out once all the screws were removed, had it been just me, then I would have most likely removed the steering wheel..

5 to 6 hours could be much less if you're mechanically inclined .

So i changed my blower to a brand new oem and it only worked for a few days and not it’s not blowing again! Any advice as to what it may be ?

Sorry to hear that it stopped working so quickly after completing the job, the fuse, relay and blower motor capacitor is 1st on the list to check and verify, control panel may also be faulty, but worst case scenario, the new motor could possibly be faulty.. please keep me posted as to what you find to be the issue..

@@SleepyJoe408 yes, I typed capacitor, I meant to type blower motor resistor, did you check related fuses?

@@thediyyardie7192 I did before I purchased the blower motor and everything looked good. I also cleaned the resistor and when I connected it back it started working but only for a couple hours than it stopped so I assumed it was the blower. (All this was before I swapped the blower) Now that the blower has been replaced I’m almost certain it’s the resistor.
