So when I first put the whole clear case on it was super loud and then I tried a grip, and it was smoking, so then I tried to use the old cam follower and it’s original hardware, TOTAL fix!!! I suggest using the screws of the old case (they have a wider head which I think helps with the sound) the screws alone could have fixed the noise! Hope this helps!

Probably also just flimsy plastic, i get people want a hype housing but it's just not the best build quality from what i can see.

Hello, very interesting video ,,,been searching for while ,,,the lever screws on my designers, the threads for the screw is gone ,,worn out ,no tension on my lever ,,,I tried sticking the nut with steel epoxy ,,that just lasted 1 min, as I move the lever it's worn ,,

I've just finished rebuilding the clipper into the clear case.. they were working for 10 minutes then they stop working! Now they don't turn on at all.. I can almost smell like a burning smell coming from the case. Do you know why this is?

Swap on/off switch back to stock and don't over tighten screws around motor and shell. Same issue. I did this and ran mine for 30 minutes no issue

Hi no it won’t work since the front cover is different and the super taper does not have a can follower to hold the blade
