Good video man! I did mine at work and lifted the bed with a forklift on chains haha I never knew it was so easy to take off. A couple pointers though....you don't explain where the connectors are for the lights. Just that they're under the truck and can't really tell where you're at by the camera. Maybe take the bolts out for the filler tube last so there's not a bunch of pressure on the plastic clip, and they won't break as easy.

The first fuel pump assembly you'd purchased that wouldn't work for your model, is the pump assembly for the 2006 Silverado 1500 WT extended cab with a 6.5ft bed, I just replaced one that came from Delphi, part # FG0340.

The process of replacing the fuel pump assembly in all the 99 to 2006 Chevy Silverado gasoline engines is basically the same, but the fuel pumps are a different design, depending on which sub-model and bed length you have.

@@cesarandino3555 most likely not the fuel pump it is possible but could be clogged cat or bad mass air flow sensor or clogged fuel filter!

About to do this today and I was curious of when I should change the fuel filter 🤔 Should I do it when the fuel pump is disconnected, or connected? Or does it not matter 🤷♂️

You can do it first and it will help relieve pressure from the lines and may help with removing the line. From the fuel pump but ether way is fine!
