This video is about How to Replace a Heating Element/ Kenmore Dryer Repair/DIY - Part 1.
I show you how to fix a Kenmore dryer that is not heating, but still runs.
Troubleshooting your dryer is the hardest part of the repair. This step by step tutorial will show you how to get your dryer heating again.
First I tested the two thermostats that cycle the heat on and off. After that I tested the resistance of the heater. Finally I show you how to remove the heater if you tested yours and it was bad.
