I like the fact you mentioned how tight the nut should be, on other videos they do not bother.

I found that the part in my Electrolux (Zanussi) washer/dryer combo (EWD1447) has a more or less identical heater, and the video worked perfectly for my replacement. Regards!

Hi, I have a Hotpoint WT940 and intend to change the Heat Element however the repair man that I chucked out (long story) had already taken off half the wiring. Is there anywhere I can find advice on how to reconnect the wires after I replace the Heat Element?

Not even remotely as easy to remove it as thos video leads you to believe. The rubber seal is a nightmare
