It could be the oil seal is not properly fix or the oil is leaking out from the valve packing

For the oil leakage check the oil seal. Then for the fuel consumption check the amount of load put on the generator or the speed of the generator whether is not high.

The place where is been fitted have expand. Change the casing or you pack it.
