Thanks for the video. I spent an hour and a half trying to get that spring on by myself today, got pissed and left it for tomorrow. I'll try your idea to wedge something in there and feed the belt tomorrow. I'm glad I'm not the only one finding that the tension spring is near impossible to install. Would really like to see Toro come up with a better design for that.
@LonghornWorkshop3 жыл бұрын
No problem and yes the wedge method works great, been doing that for a while and it’s real easy. Just make sure it’s wedged good, and when looping the last pulley just keep your fingers clear lol. My wood wedge has never failed me ..lol My wood stick should have been about an inch longer and then it would have been real easy to loop last pulley. You are right, not sure why toro has made it so hard on this model.

Thanks Mark! Yeah it’s HOT in TX and it’s humid. My shop is not air conditioned so the production of videos has gone down as it only takes five minutes for me to be drenched and pouring sweat. Hope you are well...

Would u recommend toro oem belt from Amazon 69.00 or aftermarket for 38.00 from Amazon
@LonghornWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
It’s hard to say, check the reviews on the aftermarket belt. It maybe worth trying once to see if it lasts. Sorry can’t really give any other feedback on that

That mower looked ready for a belt change Harki 😊 I could do with a machine like that here as the grass is growing at a rate I can't keep up because I use a scythe to cut it 😊 ॐ

That’s a comfortable looking riding mower. What size of a yard are you mowing? We had a trip scheduled to come to College Station this week but canceled due to everything going on ☹️
@LonghornWorkshop4 жыл бұрын
Thanks and yes it’s about 4 years old and get the job done quick. Actual mowing that we do with this is about 2 acres. It’s not a residential Home Depot version, it’s semi commercial one and is built solid. College Station would have been a nice visit

Could you please send me a link of which belt to buy. My dealer won't even give me the dimensions.. he just says they have 3 for 169.
@LonghornWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
I suggest you google the owners manual for your tractor and it should have the belt code. Then google that code on Amazon. Unless your tractor is the same model made in the same year the belt size will probably not be the same
@joelloftis86812 жыл бұрын

@@joelloftis8681 I google that model number and saw a parts diagram. Noted it said “126-7732 Deck Drive Belt”, You can search that on Amazon and you should find it. It said it’s 52” , it will be cheaper on Amazon. Again this is just on my research on the parts for your model. Here is the link to the parts diagram I found www.partstree.com/models/74451-hd-1500-toro-52-titan-zero-turn-mower-sn-400000000-402099999/deck-assembly-18/ You should look at the parts diagram first and then confirm

Lol I think someone may have gone over a stump or something. But yeah the belt should last a long time if the terrain is clean and flat, I got a lot trees to navigate.
