thanks for the video i noticed that the plastic taps have screws in them are they all meant to have screws mine does not have any and i cannot isolate water going into machine. i push the plastic tap onto connector but i cannot switch of the water. thanks

Yes all the ones I have worked with have the screws. You can get a new isolator and try using the new tap on the old isolator 👍🏻

Stupid question but I'm changing my washing machine and the valve is stuck and I can't tell if I turn clockwise or anti clockwise to turn it off? I don't want to break it. Any help?

How do you remove old olive without damaging pipe please??

An unadvisable way is to cut the olive with a hacksaw or another suitable saw. There isn’t another alternative other than cutting the pipe above the olive

if you use an olive pillar that is designed to remove olives and protect the pipe

Very useful video, at the loosening the old valve stage I get stuck as I can't loosen the bolt on the old valve as it's totally stuck and not budging. Is the only option to cut the pipe off? kzbin.info/www/bejne/haCngmN8Yrd4j6M
