Just attempted this on my Jeep Patriot (2014) and it worked great and took less than 10 min to do! The Amazon link to the parts for 6.99 worked fine. The hardest part was taking out the plugs on the hood liner and then getting them back in again. I would suggest having some extra plugs on hand as I did break half the tabs but they went back in for now. Thanks so much for the help!

I just did the right side on m 2015 Patriot. Jeep wanted $65 for one. I got 2 for $35 from Amazon. Work fine.
