Okay here’s my issue. About 2 years ago my 07 Silverado started dying when I would make turns. It was throwing the code for the throttle position sensor. Changed that then it started dying again when I would either make a turn or start coming to a stop. It was throwing the code for the accelerator pedal sensor. Changed that and about 30 minutes later it started dying again and throwing the same code for the pedal sensor. Any input would be greatly appreciated and helpful! Forgot to mention that it also hesitates.

I watched the video and it seems pretty straight forward. As I have been reading posts about this same process, others state you need to delete any codes which might exist and be sure to reset the idle back to factory settings. I have a 2003 GMC Yukon XL with what I believe has issues related to needing a gas pedal sensor or TPS replacement. Would I need to follow those steps or simply replace the pedal sensor?

@1AAuto3 жыл бұрын
+3264128m Thanks for checking us out! This would not be common with a failing pedal sensor, usually this issue is with fuel pressure and lack of spark. Pretty sure my truck (08 sierra denali) needs this replaced. It just stopped working temporarily awhile back and worked again for months but it reoccured. This problem is extremely dangerous because my truck literally had no power while on the road. It does flash the other abs/traction problems when it happens. Some roads have no place to pull over so it can be a huge problem.

so what if I have auto adjust pedals???? HOW DOES THE CABLE COME OFF????????????
@opengnosis85557 жыл бұрын
You unscrew the cap off the tabs and move it out the way up the cable and yank the cable out of the electronic adjuster on the pedal. Takes a good yank, but it will come off. Now the reinstall is tricky, as the accelator pedal and brake pedal position motors must be in the same position before reinstallation of the cable. I do this with a cordless drill.
