My dad had a 1989 Chevy Beaville van, back in thru late 90s, that wouldn't go past like 45mph. This went on for a week or so. He had a shop look into it. Found a complete birds nest inside the airbox. Which eventually blocked most of the intake air. It must've seen the van as home everyday he'd come home from work. Believe it. We were blown away.

Just to let you know, the screws are not a metal that you can pick up with a magnet.

There’s a little plastic “box” that is attached to the bottom of the air filter box. My has came unattached. I’ve tried and tried to somehow finagle it back in place, but no luck. Vehicle has been running and all that. Is this “box” necessary is my question? I’m sure it serves some purpose. 🤷🏻♂️
