What tools do you use to take alternator out

Hi there, O think your mechanical technique is sort inadequaded since you the long screw bar is pressing to harsh the iddler and againts de pullings components. Therefore, you should use the 19 mm socket and long flat addaper bar on the tensioner which that designed purpose. I would assumed is is an easy way but it could cost you more parts to be damaged.

now the only diffrence is that I did not damage any thing and I made my job easier also got it done fast and also having the ability to do it safe, fast and easier in a different way, I dont like to limit my abilities.

Understandable! But bear in mind, mechanical creativity doesn't mean hands on quality. I am certainly if you use a thicker long screw driver one of the components would snap or crack regardless the force and torque wrench applied. Whatever floats your boat then enjoy safely!

@@hansenriquerach-mendoza3515 dont be to certain about components snapping I know what im doing and I know how I do it and do it safe. and much faster also I do it at the tensioner some times I just show another way for those who dont want to deal with the tensioner so this step is much easier.

Why not use the tensioner bolt?

yes you can use it that is why it is there and that is the normal way to do it, some times is very hard to get the belt off these tensioners or either get the belt on it, I do whe ever is easy, thanks for visiting this channel.

you know you don't have to even touch the wheel at all all you have to do is use the 14mm point on the tensioner and loosen the belt through that it was WAY easier. I just did the job a few hours ago, i should've made a video @@JM-AUTO
