Hi. I have the same car and the same problem with alternator. Should I to remove the radiator fan in order to remove the alternator?

@@alexanderzhuravskiy1980 nope not necessary. Might take a minute to wiggle the alternator out, but it’s not hard as shown in the video.

Hola amigo saludos desde sinaloa ,México 👊 Mi acura tl le repararon el alternador pero como al mes empezó a fallar, encendia muy apenas y cuando ya estaba encendido la liz de la bateria y la luz del freno se quedaban encendidas, como a los 5 minutos se restablece todo, ya ay iluminación y los testigos se apagan, tu crees que el alternador no lo repararon bien o es la bateria? Saludos y muy buenos tus videos e aprendido mas de mi acura

It's very possible the alternator wasn't repaired properly. If it was rebuilt, it should have some kind of warranty. I would call the shop that rebuilt your alternator and let them know your problem. I don't know what the automotive stores by you are like, but there's a good chance they'll test your alternator and battery for free. So maybe give that a try as well. Good luck! Es muy posible que el alternador no haya sido reparado correctamente. Si fue reconstruido debería tener algún tipo de garantía. Llamaría al taller que reconstruyó su alternador y les informaría su problema. No sé cómo son sus tiendas de automóviles, pero es muy probable que prueben su alternador y batería de forma gratuita. Entonces tal vez intente eso también. ¡Buena suerte!

GOT A QUOTE FOR MY CAR'S TRANSMISSION REPAIR $5,000 AT THE DEALER. AT LEAST IT WILL HAVE AN WARRANTY

Holy Crap that's crazy! I might recommend checking out my ATF video and Solenoid Screen Filter video and giving those 2 things a try first if you haven't already! Maybe shop around too and see if any Transmission specific shops can get you a better deal.

Canadian or US? Either way 5k is very pricey man. I paid 3k CAD at a local shop. Also added a tranny cooler. Another option is to swap it out with an 06-07 Accord V6 tranny which is far more reliable than our TL's (except for Incin3ration - I can't belive he has 300k + mileage on the original). It needs minor changes to a few items but other than that its a straight bolt in. GL 👍👍
