Thank you!!!! your are amazing im doing a help a friend out job today and the altenator is only held on by a 14mm bolt...we ordered the bolts and brackets but i had no idea how they origionally went as they were missing... thabks to your great explanation and video angles i was able to not spend mt day off in the cold suffering but instead itll take me 5 mins now!! Good 👋🙏🏻🇩🇴 This Alternator fits from 1990 to 1997 Honda Accord. To put it on the 98-2002 agreement you just have to change the cover of the voltage regulator with everything and regulator because the connector is different from that of accord 98. Yesterday I went to buy an alternator for my 1999 2.3 accord and they sold me a 2.2 94-97 accord alternator and they changed the parts of the lid and the regulator due to the connector. But both alternators are 80A.

Try a 1/2" deep socket on the "12mm" nut if it seems too big. My 12 socket would not fit it

That "12mm" nut is actually 13mm/1/2". I found it easier to use an open ended wrench rather than trying to get at it with a socket/ratchet. Dont forget to take the power steering reservoir out of the groove to give yourself more room to work with.
