Thanks for the video, it was most informative. I have jute cord that I intend to use instead of hemp but, I know, they carry the same properties so this is definitely a good thing to know in advance :)

Simple ..great..but too tight for my clamp to turn. Used WD. Will see. Much appreciated. Holiday weekend so have to be self reliant..😂Dog useless at plumbing.

When you remove the tap and water is still running out means the main tap needs to be fixed as well otherwise if you have a burst pipe in the house you can’t stop the water in the house by turning off the main tap ... that’s what happened to us ... our main tap is owned by the government and they came and replaced it and then the water can be stoped completely when you turn it off .. but thanks for the great

The tap you replaced was a bit unrealistic - very loose. Mine is practically impossible to loosen.
