How To Replace Anodes On A Mercury Bravo 3 Outdrive
You will need a 8mm, 13mm and 14mm sockets with an extension as well as a flat head screwdriver.
This is a do it yourself video with step by step instructions.
It is very easy to do, so don't pay mechanic prices to have it done.
The quicksilver kit was ordered off of Amazon.

Think of anodes as small shields that protect your boat's engine from deteriorating. The metals on your boat's motor corrode over time when immersed in water, and because the bulk of an outboard or sterndrive is made of metal, anodes are crucial to an engine's health.

What year is this drive ? 2004 or before ?

Thank you, we have a 2000 model but the drives were changed in 2012. Trying to distinguish between the 2004 and up and the pre 2004.
