Cool, Great vid, I have a similar watch from Citizen which I got from the Usa in 92 , the old dead batterys were left in for a long time and when I opened the back There was some brown gundge around the negative battery terminals. I think I may have to send to Citizen to revive.

@@hovermotion You can bring the watch back to life, yourself. Disassemble the watch first and clean each terminal and each part of the watch. Sometimes the only thing it needs is just a good cleanup. More content soon!

@@plasticindices3385 Thanks, I did clean the contacts with contact cleaner and they seem to come up nice but the watch will not power up anyway , maybe something else..thanks for your videos they are unique..

@@hovermotion Many thanks for those nice words, friend. Usually these watches never die. It must be a good cleanup it needs. If the analog part does not run either, try loosing the screws on the gear plate a bit, and putting a bit of ligther fluid and then applying a bit of thin watch oil on the jewel holes in the plate. Hope that helps and cheers!

Why do you put the tweezer in those 2 little holes after installing the batteries? Just to restart? Should I press the tweezer in both holes at the same time? And which of the 3 holes do you press? The middle one? Thanks for the video.
@plasticindices338510 ай бұрын
Yes. Oftentimes installing the battery will swap the polarity on the terminals. This is because the + pole touches the - plate. So the tweezers trick restarting the module is necessary. Another way to do that is just by pulling the crown out and pressing all 4 buttons at the same time. It doesnt matter which hole you touch on the plate. They all lead to the + pole. Thanks for watching 👋🏻

I replaced the battery’s but the watch will not turn on. Any idea what I can do more?
@plasticindices33854 ай бұрын
@@jeroenrensel9280 most probably it needs cleaning the contacts and a bit of oil. You may disassemble the watch yourself as it's quite easy. Hope this helps.

@@plasticindices3385 thx for your answer! Do you mean the contacts of the battery’s? I already checked them. You have an instruction movie or something like that, how to disassemble the watch? Thx in advance 👍🏻

Just can't get mine going, I watched this video 6 times now, batteries are good. I am not sure about pushing those three buttons a the same time. Before or after battery change?
@plasticindices3385 Жыл бұрын
No, pushing the buttons will not get the analog part running. Most probably is that the gears are filthy and need a thorough clean up. However, disassembling the gear train is not recommended. So please slightly untight the 3 screws from the gear train (just a tiny bit) and gently apply a bit of lighter gas. Let the gas evaporate and apply a tiny bit of oil on each gear pivot (these appear on the top of the gear train inntge form of 3-4 jewels). The watch should be running now. Hope this helps

@@plasticindices3385 well I do not have the digital part on or the analog part. I did notice if I push the 3 buttons for an instant it will blink something. Inside looked clean.

Very Informative. I commented earlier on another video, a friend of mine gave me a first Gen, and I changed the batteries, I thought I pushed the reset button but I see the tool was too big. Nor did I connect + and - plate. I took it to a watchmaker, he did it and only charged me $15. Now I know for next time! Can I ask, you had a box of parts. The bezel action on my watch is poor. Thinking about switching it out, however, I suspect parts are hard to come by. Would you consider parting with one of your Two Tone bezels? Thanks for the Videos!

Hello friend, many thanks for watching. I remember your previous comment. I might have one spare bezel two tone, however they are in bad shape. I can share some photos if you will, just send me an email. I am in Asia now. I will be back home in June though. Cheers!

@@plasticindices3385 Sir- I was thinking out loud. It is not urgent that I replace the bezel. I never used it, or dive. 🙂 You have a great collection of AquaLand. They are very unique watch. I really like that the seconds hand hit every "Indices". Thanks again.
