How to replace batteries on a freightliner cascadia

in this video I'm replacing the batteries on this 2016 Freightliner Cascadia.
pretty easy job only a few tools required I did it myself because the people where we got the batteries from wanted to charge us $120 per hour, and they said it was going to take them at least 3 hours.

First thing everyone should do when replacing batteries is to remove the ground cables from the batteries, that way you don't have to worry about shorting out your wrench and blowing something when you are undoing your positive terminals. Excellent tutorial for learning our way around the battery box on a Cascadia. And cuddos to you for actually cleaning everything up when putting it back together. Something you might want to do for your next customer to get an even better name is carry some dielectric grease or spray can of battery terminal sealer to help prevent corrosion.. Thanks

What about shutting the main power switch off I’ve never been told to but I probably would as a extra precaution when changing the batteries 👍

​@scubadivingsince2006 not everyone has a battery cut off switch. I have a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia. No battery cut off. I could ne wrong, but I think that's aftermarket, not from the factory.

If you do not turn off the main power switch next to the drivers seat, you will float the voltage. If you float the voltage you will damage the CPC module.

Not everyone has a battery cut off switch. I have a 2012 FC, I don't have one. I could be wrong but that most likely is an aftermarket part not from the factory
