Thank you. My model of the LifeFitness bike has 10 screws. The local store in California from which I bought my bike wanted $185 + 10% tax to install the replacement battery. In California, that means I would have to earn $400 pre-tax to afford $200 after tax. That means I would have had to earn an absurd $40 per screw. If I had to work at the local Walmart to earn that, it would have meant about 30 hours of work, meaning about four days of work. Your tutorial saved me that. My bike needed just one flat-head screwdriver and I got it done in less than 15 minutes. Thanks again. Live long and prosper.

Thank you! Just used this to successfully replace my battery. How long do you think this will last? (Gets used 1-2 hours a week.)

That’s a great idea, just make sure the alternator isnt connected and drip feeding voltage back into the battery

Google Cyclon 0809-0012 Enersys 6V 5Ah Monobloc battery. We sourced one online recently for $60 (Australian Dollars)
