I replaced the batteries but when 1 battery is down, the laptop switches off even when the second battery still has power. I try to fully charge and use till about 5% before recharging. But it is going off while in use. What do I do?

hello again ! The T460S is limited to 20 Gb RAM .... Is there any way to install more RAM ????

No. If your computer has a RAM limit, it will only draw on that much RAM. You can physically install more but the computer just wont ever 'see' it :(

If you've forgotten your BIOS administrative password, the most common way to make changes to your BIOS settings is to reset the CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) battery, which will effectively clear the password and revert your BIOS settings to factory defaults; this usually involves physically removing the small battery on the motherboard and then reinserting it. I only know this as I experienced this problem myself. However, I advise you to wait for Jamin's response. He's a genius in repairing computers. TBT

You can try the BIOS reset as seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4SWdnuEZd9kb8U. However in most cases, this will not reset your BIOS password. Only the system settings.
