Make sure to remove all the screws - the video is slightly misleading - leaving a few screws in before moving onto opening the laptop - especially look for the one under factory seal

Any tips on how to remove the battery connector? Mine only comes out a tiny bit and it feels like the center part of the connector is too tight

My GP66 Leopard has the same. It's IMPOSSIBLE! Others have it too. Can't believe this bs. Shouldn't have to turn it in just to do this. I just want to add another SSD but a lot of ppl say I NEED to disconnect battery. I think I'm gonna just do EC reset. I'm so pissed. Hours wasted trying to look for answers and nobody has any. I'm not buying a damn tool kit to get the connector off!

@@Venomonomonom I managed to remove it. It needed an unbelievably high amount of force I thought I was gonna rip the cable off. I did install an additional SSD to my GP66 with the battery connected and had no issues. I disconnected the battery to reapply thermal paste.

The connector where the battery is connected to the motherboard is so stuck for me... ive removed more batteries from other laptops in the past but this connector I just can't unplug. and it looks so easy in the video?!
