I heard a noise from the blower. I followed the step in this video and I found a dead leaf in the blower. I removed it and reinstalled. No more noise. Thanks a lot for videos. And dont forget to stretch before doing this!

LOL step 1...position yourself so your left leg is out the sunroof, as your right leg braces against the open passenger door.

I own a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 since the day I pick it up from the dealership in July, 1999. Overtime, I have felt that motors begin to degrade and are need of a replacement. In short, I have removed my glove box and lower panel a few times within the twenty five year span. Well, after twenty five years, my blower now sounds like a motor boat. Being that I do not like tackling a job blindly, in this case, I would remove the lower panel. The panel directly below the glove box. This would improve your visibility when it comes to wire harnesses. Thanks to your video, I do not have to remove the glove box as well. I thank you for that. 🙂 Now my only discussion is whether to buy the OEM part from Honda or purchase the aftermarket from you. I see quite a few aftermarket fans are plastic. I believe the OEM is metal. Let's stay focused gentlemen. In reviewing the messages, I see we're steering way from the topic and talking about sub topics. Such as compressors, belts. condensers, dryers, upper and lower pressure hoses, etc.

THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT VIDEO!!! The video doesn't show it but remember to take the motor's heat shield cover off the old motor and put it on the new one. That shield has some insolation to protect a bare foot/leg from touching the motor as it does get warm! You can see at 2:10 the heat shield on the old motor and how the new motor has the holes for the shield to be attached to it. If it means anything to someone else, even when pushing in the tab on the clip for the wires to the resistor, I was unable to unplug it and was afraid to use any more force to pull it out. I WAS able to "weedle" the motors around the resistor wires by turning the motors left and right until I was able to get the "tabs" for the 8mm bolts around the wires to the resistor. It took some patience but I got it done that way as well.

Exactly what I needed to see. My '99 Accord's AC started clicking after I heard what I thought was something fall in last week. Found 23 years' worth of junk in there, or else one very intrepid rat's nest. Thanks for the help!

Thank you for visiting our channel. There are many components that are installed by the manufacturer to get an AC system to work. You may want to see if you could find a 99 Accord in the junk yard that would fit your vehicle, and then take pictures of where everything belongs on the vehicle. Hope this helps you out.

@Accord9206 If there's an automatic belt tensioner on it, it could have lost some of it's retension. I would have someone check the refrigerant level in the system to see if it's low. That would cause the system to blow warm air too.

Thanks! Used a light and mirror to help find the screws, which were easier to get at with a T25. Had to use pliers to pull out the stubborn back connector. All in all, not a bad job. Ordered my part from 1AAuto and it arrived quickly.

What do you do if those screws happen to be rounded out
@1AAuto7 жыл бұрын
+Izac Sanchez If the screw is rounded out, any local auto part store would carry a specialty socket to remove. The other option you have is to take a pair of vice grips if there is enough room and lock them into place around the screw to start the removal. It is highly recommended to replace the screw once you take it out. 1aauto.com

Does anyone know where the blend door actuator is located on the 2002 Honda Accord?

Behind the glove box on top of the air filter housing. Recirc door is there too.
