HELPFUL TIP: ITLL PROBABLY BREAK IN THE BLOCK JUST LIKE THIS. USE A SECTION OF HACKSAW BLADE OR JIGSAW BLADE WITH VICE GRIPS. CUT SOME GROOVES IN THE PLASTIC. BREAK IT WITH A SMALL SCREWDRIVER AND THEY WILL POP RIGHT OUT. DONT PRY ON THE BOCK PLZ!

Soak it with some wd 40 and use a pick tool.

the best video i saw on this matter, i did myself the same, one question, the intake manifold do have 3 ports for vacuum , my car is a 330 ci, i do have two of these ports closed by a cap, the second one have an hoose attacched that seems cutted, i do not know where to put it, i do not see the second piece of hose from which that one is cutted, my car is euro 3 spec

I had a Honda accord 2001 v6 vtech ex sedan. Never ever had a radiator issues, no hoses or anything. This must be a damn bmw thing. I have an 01 330ci coup and I hope this is why it's smoking from this area. I hear sizzling. From the area. I've replaced, the radiator, upper hose and bottom hose on the driver side, I replaced the expansion tank, and also a hose for the heater and radiator.

Most likely, if all the parts you already replace was original parts, then you should probably replace the water pump and heater pipes. Yeah common bmw issues because they are plastic.

I did this job a few days ago and now losing power and leaking oil around intake manifold, just replaced gaskets 6 months ago, still soft and pliable... i guess I gotta change gaskets everytime☹️

Hello my friend! I own a 2000 model e39. The car loses 1 liter of antifreeze per 500 kilometers. There is no antifreeze leak that we can see with our eyes. We suspect the pipes under the manifold. Do you think it could be? The car's radiator is new. There are no good mechanics here 😔 Best regards from Turkey

It’s possible, have you checked your oil to make sure it’s not your head gasket.

@@Jbonly21 I couldn't understand exactly what you mean 🤷🏻‍♂️ but the private service made the diagnosis, not me. They suspect the same situation as you because they couldn't do a pressure test. i.e. from the water pipes under the manifold

If they do a pressure test, if the pipe is leaking, you will see it on the left side of the engine and by the water pump.

You bypassed a lot of steps required to remove the manifold. 😡 That would seem to be the hardest part. Replacing the coolant pipes seemed easy.

Plenty of videos on here for the manifold, don't rely on just one video, first one took me 6 hrs, second time, 2 hrs to take apart, third time after that in less than 1 hour.
