CORRECTION: THIS bulb replacement is for the 2010-2012 Taurus but not the 2013-2019. Having owned both a 2011 SEL that used standard incandescent rear bulbs and a 2016 Limited that's equipped with LED lights, they are not the same.

More than likely because that one has LED lights so you don't have to remove the bulb. Everything else is the same though.
