If anybody wants steps, here it is 1. Open Trunk 2. Unscrew the black cap behind where the lights would be, its located in the middle of the wall on top of the carpet where the back the lights are. 3. pull carpet gently, twist the black brace where the bulb is counterclockwise like a gas cap and pull it out. 4. Pull bulb gentle out, put new bulb in the same way. 5. Put black brace back into socket and twist clockwise until you hear it snap in place. 6. Put carpet back and screw the black cap back in. 7. Drink a beer and feel slightly proud to do something yourself :D

Why not upgrade with sylvania zevo red led brake light bulbs? Since it shines back to the reflector housing, they are brighter than stock and as bright as factory red led brake lights. If u can do another content for that, the zevo led bulbs are worth upgrade and worth $25 for the lifetime warranty.

Ok so now I have to change the the rear brake light in the upper hatch door, the one near the roof of the hatch door? Does the casing just come off?
