Ah right ok.. I haven’t visited Southampton for the past 4 years since my mother in law sadly passed away… my brother in law still lives there near the Bassett area.. he is currently got a problem with his bmw 520 d sport saloon & his 520 estate… water coming in passenger side …. It’s potentially that ridiculous plastic grommet in the passenger footwell letting water in…the carpet needs removing and the grommet removing and resealing….. he’s at his wits end with it… is this a job that perhaps you could tackle for him? I believe it’s a very common fault on the 5 series (F10 model 2015 & estate is 2013). Kind regards. I remember your garage on clovelly road !

Thank you for the tutorial. I have a reverse light who stopped working long time ago, I changed the bulb recently but is stil not working, what is the most common issue with this model? Reverse switch or bulb? thank you in advance

Hi, it could be the bulb socket or electrical issue. Or it can be the reverse switch too which is on the gearbox. Take it to your local garage and they can diagnose it for you. Thanks

Hi thanks! Here are some clutch failure red flags: Your clutch feels spongy, sticks or vibrates when you press it. You hear a squeaking or a grumbling noise when you press down on the pedal. You can rev the engine, but acceleration is poor. You have difficulty shifting gears. You experience a 'slipping' clutch, which causes a momentary loss of acceleration. It’s only rough estimate but should cost between £400 to £600

2010 not so easy, you gotta remove the assembly to get to that particular bulb. Bad design.

You see The wiring in the socket that you unplugged. Does the wiring have to be identical on both sides? Because i took my car for a mot and the brake lights are not working now 😢and i think they have put the red wire that goes into number 6 into number 7 on my left side and this is why my brakes are not working.
