Okay, I've got sound and input on my recapped Game Gear, but no video, and the contrast wheel doesn't do a bloody thing. Are new fuses likely to fix this? What fuse do I use? (Hey, that rhymed!)

You can blow this fuse very easily when you are removing the Caps with the rework station. The Rework station is not good for everything. Thx for the tip, I blew the same fuse with the rework station, the heat got to it. Thermal fuse, DUH me!

I got it from eBay. For this one, they didn't have the exact same fuse, but I got the specs for the components and got a similar match. Panasonic Thermal Fuse F102 TF 102℃ 1A 250V Links Axial Lead EYP1BF102L www.ebay.com/itm/185382558657

You could have left the old fuse and just soldered the new fuse on the other side. Saving you headache

Ugh, this is beyond me. I can see now why they want to charge me the big bucks ($800 m. pesos). This would be well spent money for the game gear, but I have only one game; the same one you have. It goes back on the shelf.
