Mine had a plastic door that flipped forward to open. 08 R/T charger.

my 2008 dodge charger has this compartment, but i can’t seem to fit the cabin filter in... i definitely purchased the correct one. could it be because there’s no housing?

+J J He means on the top of the installed filter is a lash that snaps on to hold filter in place. Got one on my challenger.
