Bro this video is gold!!! Thanks my guy for making this. What symptoms did you notice that let you know the catalytic converter was bad? Also would the 2006 Maxima SE have the same layout as the one you worked on?

@wftyler9680 yeah these can be a bit too much. I normally don't upload videos like these but I was looking for a video on how to remove the cats. I didn't find any so I decided to upload one myself for anyone out there looking for this.

Hey what was the cost for this ?
@AudoFixMobile10 ай бұрын
Not exactly sure. The cat is probably over a grand? They usually expensive. Labor wise would be 4 or 5 hours least. For both cats maybe 6 hours or so? Nowadays it's 200 bucks an hour for labor in most dealerships. You can get good deals from mechanics that do work on the side. It's an expensive deal in dealerships.

@senju64 yeah aftermarket ones. Not as good as oe but even oe ones go bad. I actually put a aftermarket one around same price on my 2008 altima and it did fine for maybe 2 or 3 years? If your don't want to put anymore money into your car cuz it's maybe high mileage I would do that. It will do okay for maybe 1-3 years.
