Jaci, very good video. I'd have liked to hear just a little narration, but I realize that's not everyone's cup of tea. Before reaching 160,000 miles, my 2001 Tundra had an intermittent horn, but unlike yours, no other clockspring-related functions were affected. Replacing the clockspring seemed to fix the horn for a while, but a few months later the horn would not function (again) at some steering positions, particularly the center position. I added a ground wire between the steering wheel frame and the ground wire for the cruise control (this wire goes through the white 6-pin connector). Toyota apparently uses the steering column as the ground path for the horn, which can be a weak connection as the car ages. I'm so glad to have the horn working again, as I can give my finger a rest. 😅Safety note: remember to store the air bag with the bag facing up when it's not connected. If it were to somehow blow in that position, at least the bracket on the back wouldn't become a missile.
