I have an 04 Civic DX, and I had some of these T5 (2723 and 2721) wedge bulbs die over the years. I decided to go with fancy bright LED bulbs off ebay for $8 as a replacement, blue color for my blue car and blue alpine deck. They work and they look great at night, but I didn't realize that LED bulbs don't blink - my indicators don't light up on the dash - I'm guessing I need some kind of relay or extra part that allows LED bulbs to blink, but I'm not doing it. The red 'red line' on my RPM's also don't illuminate red and the RPM and speed needles don't glow red. 5 months later, I bought new T5 bulbs off ebay, clear, regular bulbs. I like the blue color, but I miss the indicators, red RPM lines and needles that light up.

Yea I would stick with stock bulbs unless I'm changing the cluster as a whole. I was thinking about going with red, blue, or green bulbs when I was changing them. I went with the normal white color though, and the replacement went smoothly. I always had the center two missing though, haha! I sold this a year ago and bought an ej8, the video showing it off will be out tomorrow if you're interested. If you're ever feeling the need to go back to white, do it. I ended up doing the bulbs a few times over, just so I can film. So taking the dash out a few times slowly started to become easy, and less of a pain in the ass

I used Sylvania brand bulbs which I bought from Autozone. They're 2721

My mom has a 2002 Honda Civic Dx and one of the bulb for gear {D} went out so I replaced it. After I replaced one of the dash boad light for {D} , I put everything back together and after I plugged the yellow clip and blue clip back in the unit , the thermostate gauge needle goes below letter C when I clearly put the needle on letter C not below C - I just don't get it. Please help me out .

MaxSpeed You deserved it, my dude! And thanks.. definitely having fun with this Civic! Next lil project is to take off my passenger door panel.. window seems to be getting a lil slow, I'm not mechanically inclined at all lol do you think it could just use some kind of lube in there?

If your window is going up slow then most likely the window actuator is going out. When you take off the door panel you'll see a door lock actuator which is for your power door locks, and a window actuator for your power windows. Replace the window actuator and the window should go back to normal speed. Just my .02

You can use brighter lights, yup!

The back of my cluster looks way different!! My cluster turns on when the car is on! But when I turn on the headlights, the dash turns off

Changed the bulbs, plugged this shit back in and now instead of just few lights not working the whole right (green plug) side is not lit up 😂😂 you think its the plug that didnt click? Lost 2 screws in the steering column damn

I got my first car back in 2017 when I was 21 at my first real job I bought the first car that came my way which was a 07 Toyota Corolla. Not the best but very very reliable. I still have the corolla but my grandparents don't have a vehicle so I gave it to them and I bought that civic a couple months back. My goal is to fix it up then get a newer car so that way I have my 02 civic looking nice and then a newer car that also looks nice.
