Binh, did you notice any inaccuracy in your speedometer reading after swapping the Y38 in? I have an M98 and a Y38 to swap into my automatic IS300. I prefer the Y38 to get a little more off the line, but I don't want to have my speedometer off....

are you going to replace the diff bushings in the rear sub frame as well? i put this diff in my is300 and changed out the rear sub frame and rear diff bushings. yes you can feel the vibration of the rear in the car but its not a crazy amount of vibration.

Not planning on it for the 2IS. Bushings are all still good on my car. Maybe I’ll do it on the IS300 when I change the seals on that diff.

What’s the size of the cup you used to push in the axle seals ?

IDK but should be same as IS250 bolts if you look those up.

What's the benifit of this LSD?

It’s an LSD vs open diff. It’s cheap and easy to find. Bolt on for IS250. Is 4.1 vs stock 3.9 ratio so faster off the line acceleration.
