Thanks for posting this as it will be helpful to me. I'm working on a 128i, swapping out the wheel assemblies (knuckles with bearings, hubs, suspension arms) and rear axles. I will need to either use the e-brake cables attached to the new (used) assemblies or use the old ones already on the car. So, the difference of do I detach them at the e-brake handle and feed the new ones through or do I detach at the parking brake and use the old ones already in place. Your video gives good information to help me either way I go.
