If I'm not replacing the pipe do I still need to remove to replace the EGR valve?

FYI to those watching. The EGR valve, pipe and manifold fitting are new. Pipe fittings are usually frozen because of rust and will need heat to break the pipe nuts free.

So this must be for 8 cylinder. The 1998 4.2L V6 is not located there. Its at the front.

i have new tube and exhaust manifold... will clogged egr cause minor hesitation on exceleraton 2000 f150 4.6 manuel 4x4;

I got for egr and 1 of my 02 sensors that I replaced recently. scanner shows egr failed leak test. would egr cause 02 senor to show code; and where is like leak failure? I just had new exhaust manifolds put on and new tube on my 2000 f150 4.6
